Tasting notes
Appearance: New gold in colour, forms a thin line which falls as slow, thin legs
Nose: Stewed orchard fruit, tropical fruit, lemon puff biscuits, vanilla pod and a soft floral note
Palate: Full body, turning creamy on the palate with a notable fizziness. Foam bananas, overripe Conference pears, lemon zest, vanilla ice cream and a touch of crystallised ginger
Finish: Honey and vanilla linger, together with ginger beer and a fruity floral note
Overall: This would make a great summertime dram, with citrus freshness, fruit and floral notes and a little ginger spice added into the mix. Priced around £60, which represents good value in my eyes.
