The WhiskyHeroes is a range of spectacular single-cask whiskies and exclusive small batches, matured only in classic bourbon and sherry casks. Each bottle is infused with a dash of mischief and a pinch of heroism.
These casks are the heroes of the whisky world, so the whiskies and the presentation of the range reflect this. Each bottle is designed to be bold. Each whisky is full of character and adventure, every release chosen for its ability to take the whisky fan on an adventure of flavors and history.
“Echoes from Below” - a 10 Year Old Loch Lomond Whisky, finished in a 1st fill PX Sherry Quarter Cask, dives deep into sherry rich flavours. It was bottled at a robust 55.5% abv. And is an exclusive run of 163 bottles. This release carries the spirit of the deep with an intense character that lurks within each drop of this unique and limited dram.

Strength: 55.5% ABV
Appearance: Deep Amber, forms a thin line which beads before slowly falling as thick, oily legs
Nose: Cola bottles, dark chocolate caramel toffees, strawberry laces, vanilla pods.
Palate: Rich dried fruit, dark berries drizzled in honey, dark chocolate hazelnut caramels, Dandelion & Burdock, liquorice and a touch of peppery spice.
Finish: Lingering woodland berry fruit, musty old leather-bound books, black liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper.
Overall: A slightly unusual profile for a PX cask finish, but nonetheless interesting and enjoyable. There’s a richness and slight mustiness that gives a feeling of the dram being older than its 10 years. A few drops of water brings out a little more of the fruit and creaminess to the mouthfeel but loses some of the character.
